Who am I?

Picture
I am a qualified counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) as an Accredited Counsellor. This means that they have recognised my training and experience as being of a higher level. I work to their code of ethics (copies of this are available on request). I work with individuals and couples, and I have a wide range of experience working in both these areas.

I work both face-to-face and remotely with clients over the TELEPHONE or using ZOOM.  Many of the clients I have worked with over the years, came to me with issues including grief and bereavement, loss of various kinds, anxiety, self esteem and confidence problems, sexual and physical abuse, and various forms of self-harm including addiction issues. In addition I also work with couples struggling with all sorts of issues in their relationships.

As a person-centred counsellor, I prefer not to label my clients' problems, but rather deal with the person in front of me, to help them find their own solutions, to their own problems.
